Webscan Announces Aztec Code Verification

Accurate Aztec Code Verification with TruCheck USB

Longmont,  CO – December 1, 2011 – Webscan is proud to announce support for verifying Aztec Code symbols in its TruCheck USB product line.  Aztec code is a relatively new 2D Matrix symbology and until now there was no product which could verify these symbols to ISO 15415 standards.

“Webscan is once again showing its unprecedented leadership by being first to support this new 2D symbology”, states Glenn Spitz, President of Webscan.  “Of course, for us it was just a matter of implementing the reference decode algorithm according to the ISO/IEC standard for Aztec Code, since our verification algorithms for 2D Matrix symbologies are already implemented and in use in thousands of installations for Data Matrix and QR Code”, adds Spitz.
