MSI Plessey is based on the original Plessey Code. It is also referred to as Modified Plessey. There are two guard characters at beginning and end of the code. The code uses 0-9 but does not support alphabetic characters.
Because of this, the code is not often used anymore. Barcode scanners may not be able to read MSI Plessey, so check with other members in your supply chain before printing the code.
